I kept my word: they got in trouble - I was close thanks to Vladimir Ruban and officer corps, in the ranks of which I was honored to be accepted. We went to Donetsk. Met with Oleksandr Zaharchenko and got our 16 guys back without any exchange. We took them back to Dnipropetrovsk where they reunited with their relatives. As to Zaharchenko ... He does not consider himself an enemy of Ukraine. He does not want to shoot and he doesn’t want to be shot at. When we spoke with him, he said (I wrote down word-by-word): "I'm not what they are making out of me. Here is something wrong. Please convey this to the ordinary people "- I’m passing this on. I think it is really a war of myths, from which we suffer. This is a war of slander. This is a war to impose labels and disinformation. I truly believe that Donbas and Lugansk were and will remain Ukrainian. At least I really want it and believe it. Message to our military guys: Guys, if you are going to do a feat to become a hero, save your lives first. I do not want to see pointless deaths. Do not hurt us. We will get you out of captivity, but not from the heavens. Let's get back to our real enemy. Here is what I want to say. If we stop shooting at each other, we will break Putin’s plan. Putin is “playing” on a foreign land. Everyone who is on their own land, fighting for their own land – are allies. I was in Donetsk and I think that I saw the truth. My message today: Stop the fire! I don’t want to see pointless deaths. We have to fight the real enemy. He exists – Putin.
