Насчет вторичности АК - пишущие это явно не специалисты, иначе бы так не писали

"The rotating bolt (AK) and the titling bolt (StG). The rotating bolt is something of a standard of the small arms.
The percussion trigger is different for AK and StG.
The way of disassembling of the rifles is absolutely different.
The switch of the shooting regimes and the safety catch are combined at AK as a single device, at StG 44 they are divided.
But the gas operated mechanisms are identical this determines the similar outward of the rifles. This mechanism was not a novelty; the principle was used at machineguns Colt 1895, Hotchkiss M1914 and (if I am not mistaking) at a semi-automatic rifle M1 Garand, as well at other models.
M. Kalashnikov in his memoirs point to a fact that the main goal during development of the new avtomat was making of an arm that is simple in production and use and based on known and well-tested principles. Thereof AK-47 is just obliged to have great number of “prototypes” and “relations”.
I think from point of view of engineering schools StG 44 is typical specimen of German school of “perfect and refined design”; in case of AK-47 we see the simplicity of the production and the use as main objective, this is typical for the Russian school."
